I've been recreating our web site that was written in VS2003 into VS2005. Recreating it (it's relatively small) has proved easier than conversion. One web page has vertically scrolling text in a panel that runs via java script. In a web form developed
using VS2005 the text does not display at all, let alone scroll. I know the text is being passed properly to the form as I can display it in other controls, but the java script does not seem to work - it was copied verbatim into the new page.
Is there an inherent change between vs2003 and vs2005 that will cause some java script to stop functioning? Try as I might, I have not been able to nail down a solution. Little help, anyone?

Could you please post your code.

I think what I'm finding out is: The new web site I created is AJAX enabled and it is going to treat java script differently or at least the way it is executed.
I still haven't had success getting even something simple like:
btnFinished.Attributes.Add("onclick", "return confirm('Have You Completed The Assessment?');")
I'm researching the difference and I've tried a few things like inserting a scriptmanager and placing the code in a .js file. Below is the java script I originally wrote about. I know the data in the variable is good and being passed without problem.
I know the code is good if placed inside a VS2003 form. The problem lies in placing the code into a AJAX enabled form. I'm sure it's just ignorance on my part. If you can get me pointed in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.
