First, I am not a AD LDAP person. I am using a tool where it needs LDAP for authentication and authorization steps to be done in AD (Active Directory). For Authorization, what I need to send to AD?. is it Group DN, Bind DN, Search filter ...??. I do not
have any idea about the terminology.
Any help would be greatly appriciated.
Thank you for your time.

It sounds like you are using some tool. What is the tool that you are using? Or are you looking for how to authorize/authenticate with .NET?

.NET has built in support for authentication and authorization using AD. With ASP.NET you can just make changes to the web.config to turn on Windows authentication and authorization. With ASP.NET 2.0 they now have membership and role management providers
that give you more flexibility. There is also an authorization manager you can utilize.
If you are looking for help in configuring some tool to connect to AD using LDAP, please provide some more details on the tool and on what you are trying to do.
I am still not sure I understand what you are asking for.
