I'm using VS.NET 2005 standard editions and SQL 2005 standard. I've never had Express versions.
I downloaded and installed (.vsi) with no errors. However it does not show as a template in "My TEmplates". (The same was the issue with personal Starter kit). So I moved the club_rtm_v1_vb file to "C:\Users\rwilliams\Documents\Visual Studio 2005\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual
Web" where the Personal Starter kit had automagically been placed. I then did and Add > From Exisiting projects > and chose the Visual WEb folder > Open. When it opens I get over 100 errors:
HTMLTextWriter Tag is not defined
AddAttributesToRender cannot be declared Overrides because it does not override a sub ...
Type unit is not defined
MonthChangedEventArgs is not defined
Name Viewstate is not declared
I also got a database error. So I downloaded SQLServer Express because it seems that most of the starter kits use the Express databases by default.. Still no dice when I hit CTRL-PF5. What am I missing?
(By the way, the same thing happened with the Peronsal starter kit, but I was able to workaround by creating the database manually. with the SQL script provided. I was able to create a personal starter kit, but it does not show up in "My templates" either.

Try downloading and running the zip and not the vsi. Those get messy at times.

What do you mean by running the zip?

Hmmm... they seem to have taken down the link.
I don't mean to be pushy... but have you tried v2 or v3 beta 1 (http://codeplex.com/clubstarterkit)
