I have some issues when migrating a project from VS.NET 2003 to VS 2005. I just upgrade a VS 2005 from VS.NET 2003 and try to bring my current web project to a newer version to modify it, but have a lot of validation issues like:
Validation (Internet Explorer 6): Attribute 'ms_positioning' or 'size' is not a valid attribute of element input
Validation (Internet Explorer 6): the values permitted for this attribute do not include 'middle'
CSS Validation: Design_Time_Lock is not a valid CSS proper name
In VS.NET 03, my project works fine from the beginning to an end, no error, but when I bring my whole project into VS 05, It won't converted. I have to create .aspx and bring the code or the layout design from 03 to 05. When I run the whole project, it
causes an error at where the selection from the dropdownlist, saying multiple control id selected at the first selection from the dropdownlist and it doesn't populate the data from the db like it used to be. My code works fine in 03 but not 05, so I'm wondering
what cause it? and also, the protection level issue, so instead of private or public, I have to changed it to "protected", does anyone have the same issues like I have? and how do I avoid it in the future? For right now, I'm still trying to figure out how
to solve those issues I mention above..

VS 2003 used custom attributes on elements such as 'ms_positioning'. These attributes are not allowed in modern Web standards such as XHTML. VS 2005 is XHTML compliant and therefore flags 'ms_positioning' as invalid. You can remove the attribute, it has
no meaning in VS 2005 and is no longer in use. VS 2005 has much more complete validation of CSS and HTML and hence you may see more errors.

What about following errors?
Validation (Internet Explorer 6): Attribute 'size' is not a valid attribute of element 'input'.
Validation (Internet Explorer 6): Attribute 'ondrop' is not a valid attribute of element 'iframe'.
Thanks in advance,
