Actually, the deleteMailbox action which fails and the error messages in event log are not related.
The event log errors are due to obsolete procedures in the Managed Helpers namespace, calling procedures which do not exist (hence It drops errors to the event log). You can either
ignore those messages (but it will fill your event log up), or you can delete the following procedures from Managed helpers:
LCSEnableUser_ ; LCSEnableOrgUsers_ ; DeleteOrganization_ ; DeleteUser_
Make sure to back the namespace up before any action.
Regarding the mailbox you try to delete, can you try performing it via provtest? You will find the XML structure template on your MPS server in <system drive>\Program Files\Microsoft
Hosting\Provisioning\Samples\Hosted Email 2007\DeleteMailbox.xml
Copy the file in a temp folder, modify it to reflect your environment and the user you want to delete and see (post) the result.

but the same error with
'Unable to generate a temporary class (result=1). error CS0266: Cannot implicitly convert type 'Microsoft.Provisioning.Providers.Exchange2007Provider.Data.GetMailbox_ResponseResultImapMessagesRetrievalMimeFormat?'
to 'Microsoft.Provisioning.Providers.Exchange2007Provider.Data.GetMailbox_ResponseResultPopMessagesRetrievalMimeFormat?'. An explicit conversion exists (are you missing a cast?)'

This error occurs if the .Net hotfix KB928365 has been installed on the MPS engine. It actually breaks some procedures (but not all) of the Exchange provider. Remove the update from the MPS engine(s) and you should be able to delete mailboxes.

it's OK now.

I'm getting the same error and I don't have that KB installed on MPS.
Any other suggestions?

My mistake, it was installed on MPS. Its just that it was listed under a different section (Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0) section than the usual windows updates.
All works fine now. Thanks.

the KB928365-Update doesn't allways prevent the mailboxes from being deleted. I allreade deleted some Mailboxes on our HMC-Environment. The SPUI allways showed an error, but deleted the mailbox. Now i tried it again, and i wasn't able to delete a mailbox.
Might be, that this really has a Relationship to IMAP (as told in the Error-Message), beacause all the deleted users where MAPI-Users, while the one how could not be deleted was not MAPI-Enabled.
