Here's an EXTREME newbie question: is it possible to run the personal and club kits from the same database? If so, could someone be so kind as to point me in the right direction?
Many thanks for any assistance

The short answer is yes. But it depends on what you're asking and what you're trying to achieve.
You can install the club database structures (tables and procedures) and the personal structures into the same database by running the .SQL scripts provided with each installation into the same database.
Do you want the user base to be separate? Two applications can use the same membership database by using different Application Names in their web.config files. Note that means there is no explicit connection between logins in the two applications - member
A could register with the Personal kit as "mary" and member B could register with the Club kit as "mary". If you want to integrate the membership you'd have to do some explicit coding.

Many thanks for the response. I have no need or desire to integrate the userbases, so that's a non-issue. When you say I can install the dB structures and personal structures with the .SQL scripts, I assume you mean to run the personal-add.sql and the club-add.sql
queries against the database. I've tried this, but I get errors, presuambly because some of the table names are the same. Any idea how to get around this?
Again, thanks for the help. I'm much further down the road than I was...
