Are you logged in the MPSSampleCP as a domain admin or a reseller admin?
Can you check that the MPSSharepointAccts domain group is member of the local administrators groups of all the WSS frontends?
Is the Sharepoint Application pool running under "Sharepoint_AppID" identity?
Also, can you please check if you get the same error message when using provtest ?

MPSSharepointAccts is member of local administrators of COLLAB01 and the application pool is runing under Sharepoint_AppID. But i don't know with what xml must use provtest.

Here's the xml you need to provtest:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<execute namespace="Managed Sharepoint Hosting" procedure="CreateCustomerSite" impersonate="1">
<title>Alpine Ski House team site</title>
<description>Testing create site</description>

There are samples of XML files on your MPS server, <system drive>:\Program Files\Microsoft Hosting\Samples
The Sharepoint files are located in the ManagedSharepoint subfolder. Can you try CreateCustomerSite.xml and GetCustomerSite.xml (after modifying them) to see if there is any issue?

I bet it's trying to add the Sharepoint Administrator to
http://www.teamalpine.com [;)] Maybe the admin needs some Motorbike parts.. hehe
Make sure http://www.teamalpine.com is pointing towards your SharePoint Server by creating a A-Record on the AD DNS servers. And not to the Bike site.
