I have a few client websites hosted on WebHost4Life.com, for a couple of months. Most of them are classic ASP.NET applications, without any (or much) database usage at all. Still, I'm just surprised with the amount of downtime lately. Host-Tracker.com reports
(for the last 10-15 days alone):
Total uptime for past 15 days: 98.86%
Total downtime: 3 hour 35 min/90)
I've left several support messages, but they keep telling me that their server is fine, and it must be a routing issue. Its hard to believe that a routine issue will cause such problems. Moreover, their support guy was rude enough to say that they DO NOT promise
99.9% uptime on shared hosting (which is totally against their guarantee). I've even written to their CEO, but no response as yet.
What should I do now? Move to another host immidiately, or wait a bit more? My clients are losing traffic and business, and eventually I'm losing client trust.

Our company used WebHost4Life previously, and moved because of the same reasons. Other reasons including they removed Terminal Services access on to our server because they said we weren't paying for it - even though we were. The servers were nutoriously
slow, bad support (as you have indicated). We tolerated it for the greater part of a year, trying to be patient and give them a chance to prove us otherwise. Eventually, we got fed up and moved. If I were you, I wouldn't wait.
Anyone is better than WebHosts4Life, even GoDaddy.
Since you have client issues with it too, that is even a stronger reason to move. WebHost4Life has had this problem for a long time, and have made no indication of improving service. Not worth waiting.
If you want a recommendation, Try ORCS Web. Support and service is phenominal. Bit more expensive than some other hosts, but for good reasons. That, and they have a 4 9's gaurentee uptime (99.99%).

At the beginning of June there was a huge DOS attack and many hosting providers struggled, but since then I have not noticed such issue.
If you are not happy just search for another solution.
