Is there a particular reason why you are trying to send an email via outlook? A much easier method would be to use a

I am looking for a solution to have my users send E-mails from Outlook too. There is a file that gets generated from my webapp, and I would like my users to click on a button to attach the server-side file attachment into their Outlook message. I don't
want the E-mail sent, just an Outlook E-mail started with the recipient's address filled, and the file attached. Then my user can finish the message body and send it out.
This webapp is run in a controlled environment. As for why I am not sending the E-mail directly from .NET, it's because I do want a copy of that E-mail left in my user's Outlook sent box, and preserve whatever E-mail signatures they have.
Rama did you find a solution?
p/s: I think instead of sending the E-mail from Outlook, I can create a server-side *.msg (Exchange Mail Message) object that my users can download. For my users it will be just downloading the file, which is an already-formed E-mail message with all the
contents. All they have to do is to customize it and send it out. But I'm not sure how that can be implemented either.

Anyone find an answer to this? I am building an web app that is going to be ran internally. I want the customer to be able to email a picture to their customer. I would like it to popup in a Outlook 2007 so that they have access to their address book.
I am aware that they could just right click on the photo and select email picture, but my boss says that is not good enough. He wants them to be able to click on a link and have the email be an attachment in Outlook.
