I am going to develop HMC4. And I try to use everything are 64-bit, but it tells that I have to use 32bit SQL 2005. So, is there problem for me to install 64-bit SQL 2005?? or 32bit SQL2005 on 64-bit Windows server 2003???
Thanks a lot!!!

The problem with 32bit SQL is related to the MPS Server. The MPS doens't support a 32bit OS/SQL.

Sorry, you mean it doesn't work in 64bit??? The document said that it only works in 32bit.

The MPS server works on 32bit only. The MPS databases, Microsoft Provisioning System (MPS) and MPS Audit and Recovery service also works on 32bit only. These components will be created on the MPSSQL box. If you want to use 64bit SQL2005 for SharePoint, you
must create a separate Database Sever(s) for 64bit.
Some Notes from the Documentation:
I can only advice you to use the guidelines from Micrsoft, or you might run into seriuos problems. I heard/seen problems with 64bit on MPS.
