Recently acquired new laptop with Vista Ultimate. Typical install of VS 2003 is requesting frontpage server extensions. I cannot seem to give what is required to launch new web applications. Any help would be much appreciated.

ScottGu game some insights in comments here:
You will have to effectively turn Vista into XP by disabling all the security features. You must be admin and also give admin account same rights as in XP (admin in Vista is still a limited account) by editing security policy (run secpol.msc snap-in). Most
difficult part is probably make debugging work as well as make VS 2003 talk to IIS7 (you will have to install IIS6 compat as well).

The best solution that worked for me was virtual pc
This way you work around all the problems as once.
