I installed the ASPNETCssFriendlyAdapters.vsi and all has been working reasonably well for my existing controls and retro fit into my web sites. However, I ran into a major issue with the GridView control -- the CSS friendly approach is causing me nightmares.
A GridView that used to look ok and work reasonably well, looks terrible now and I seem to have very little control over how the GridView displays itself (with or without using CSS)
I can't seem to get the GridView to display a fixed column width nor a fixed column header height -- I can get the grid to look good in design mode, but as soon as I execute my web app the grid expands itself to fit my panel and ignores all fixed column
widths and pretty much does whatever it likes.
Can someone give me a hint what might be going on?
