Hi there, I have had a bit of a wierd one in that I was looking through TimeTracker that I set up a while ago, and the user (consultants) says that they add times for separate categories into separate projects fine and the project manager wanted to see a
resources report. So they go to the screen Report_Resources.aspx and in STEP 1 they select the project they want to see. In STEP 2 they select the resources (people) and step 3 select the dates.
The trouble is the screen Report_Resources_Result.aspx then shows results for ALL projects regardless of what project was chosen.
When I look in the first screen I see the control ID is called
ProjectList where the user can select the project, but this control is never referenced anywhere.
to databind the result table to, which also doesnt seem to acknowledge that a project has been selected. So is it just me or has project been ignored?
I have had a search about but cant seem to find anybody else who has found this issue and I am wondering if I have just got a corrupt version of the TimeTracker or something.
Has anybody ever come across this problem before as I am a bit baffled that a starter kit would have this issue?

I have installed TT in my system and I checked the situation wht you have told
But in my case, I created 2 projects, when I select 1 project for Project reprt it shows report for that
project only, not for all..
Working fine for me [:)]
How do you getting the all project reports, have you change something in code ?

Hi there Chetan.
Thanks for the reply.
I am afraid you tested the wrong thing however.
Please dont read this sarcastically as it is not not meant to be that way, but I am going to re emphasise my problem and over highlight the difference between what I am finding and what your test is finding:
Yes, the PROJECT REPORT will work because it is specifically a report for a project.
What I am talking about is the RESOURCE REPORT.
It has 3 Steps in it to configure your RESOURCE REPORT and the first step is to select the project for your RESOURCE REPORT.
It is this Project selection for this report that I am saying is being ignored.
Are you still finding different reuslts to me?

Hi there, yeah thats cool thanks for confirming.
I just wanted to make sure that I didnt have an old half done version of it. and that there was a full solution somewhere.
Basically someone I know took it as a final solution given away free from Microsoft and used it as a project management system.
Thanks for confirming anyway.
