I need to detect if a user's browser is a mobile device (ASP.Net 2.0 application). If the browser is deemed a mobile device.....redirect the user to a mobile version of the page. I'm using the "IsMobileDevice" property to do this detection. However, I've
been finding that many of the newer mobile devices are not being detected.
My thoughts on this so far, center around the browser definition files ("\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\Browsers") not being up to date. What is the best way to go about updating them? Should I use another solution? I've been looking
into what WURFL is suggesting.....but I would rather find a solution recommended by Microsoft. Any thoughts?
