My web app works fine locally with VS2005. When I upload it to my hosting company, GoDaddy, and I get to a form that uses
Membership, Roles and Profiles I get this error message:
The SSE Provider did not find the database file specified in the connection string. At the configured trust level (below High trust level), the SSE provider can not automatically create the database file.
I checked up on the net and found a solution to use a tool called
Microsoft Sql publishing wizard in order to export my local sql database to an sql command file and than on the host run this sql script file.
I did everything with no errors at all but still I get the above error message when open this web form which include the Membership, Roles and Profiles.
WHAT AM I'M DOING WRONG ????

I'm in the exact same boat. Tested everything to no avail and the hosts say everything is fine as everyone else can get to their DBs......

You need to do a backup and restore on your host's database. Then change your connection string to connect to the actual database server instead of trying to attach the mdf file. Let me know if you need more details.

I actually found the answer by referring to my connection string as a local one, got the advice from www.connectionstrings.com
