OK, I got my site moved to a production server, but I can't log in! [:S]
I could log in when I debug or run the site from VS express. My user name and login work fine, but after I published it my user name and password don't work. Anyone have an idea why this is so? Any suggestions on how to fix?

Please check this post and verify that its not one of the problems mentioned:

I'm going to read through one of the threads Bullpit mentioned, but I'm not sure either of them are the problem. I tried to create a new user and got the error below. I found an article on this error also I have to read.
An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
Exception Details: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Failed to update database "C:\TEST\APP_DATA\TIMETRACKER.MDF" because the database is read-only.

You may have already gone thru this post if you googled, but in case you did not, have a look, this might be the solution:

I read a bunch of the forums and there are several solutions. The first thing I need to do is get my database working, so the solution I am trying now, is to
Give the user ASPNET full control over the App_Data directory found within my website.
My production server is running Windows 2003 standard, IIS 6.0. I right clicked on the properties of App_Data folder > Web Sharing. then I selected "share this folder" and check the read and write checkboxes, I then reboot the server.
Will this work? I am new to Win Ser 2003. I didn't see a ASPNET user. How do I give the ASPNET user full control.

I am using SQL Express. I checked the MDB and LDM files and the read only is not checked.
I went up a directory to my App_Data folder and made sure the INTERNET GUEST ACCOUNT and NETWORK SERVICE users had modify, read and write. (I think everything but full control). I have to wait for
the server to reboot hopefully this will work
Well whatever I did, it works now. I can login, access the site anuse the DB. See my last entry. I guess the ASPNET user was replaced with INTERNET
