Sure you can use any ftp application to deploy files.
As for what wrong, its very hard to say with out knowing more about the application you deployed.

hi thanks for kind reply. and i use PUBLISH option in Build Menu for hosying my site.
in target location i type ftp://myclient FTP IP , is it correct procedure to host my site. plz guide me

You have two choices:
1. Just copy all project files to the web server (via FTP client by example) and configure it to use ASP.NET version 2.0. In this scenario it will compile your application on the fly and this will cost you
some performance, the good part is that you could very easy update your site, just copy the new files.
2. From VS 2005 click with right mouse button on the project and choose Publish Web Site, after that you have couple of options. In this scenario the performance is much better, because you precompiled your
website before publishing, but you should precompiled and deploy again the whole site if you have some changes.
About yor problem, check your server firewall connection - in
connection properties, Advanced, Windows Firewall Settings,
Exceptions - check if HTTP service is there, if not add it...
