I found a few 2.0 threads in this forum and none of them really spelled out what I need to do with Cassini to make it work for a 2.0 application. I don't see any way to search through the posts, so here's my situation:
My boss gave me a zip file containing a .Net application that is used on mobile pcs. I was given instructions by my boss to modify this application according to requirements document. Without thinking, I began making the requested modifications. When I completed
the project, they told me that it was no longer working with the web server, which is Cassini.
I need to find a way to make this application - now a 2.0 application - work with Cassini, but I don't know the first thing about it. The main issue is that I need to be able to simply replace the files in the .zip that was provided to me, and send it back
to them as a working application. I have asked, and I know that the mobile pcs that are being used all have the 2.0 framework. I'm trying to have the least impact possible - I don't want them to have to build and install stuff on the pcs. They want to be able
to open the zip and replace the existing folder structure with my changes.
How do I go about doing this? Is it even possible?
Thanks in advance.
