Anyone know how to transfer the SQL DB in the classifieds starter kit to a SQL 2000 box?
I've tried a variety of methods to transfer this across but I'm not sure if the SQL2K5 index on the start kit DB are backward compatible.

It's not necessary to do a DTS. You can use the classifieds-add.sql script, which can be found in the App_Code folder of the Classifieds Starter Kit, to create all of the tables, views, and stored procedures that you'll need. There is also a classifieds-categories.sql
script that will add all of the default categories to the database for you.
You'll also need to create the aspnet membership tables using the aspnet_regsql tool. See this
thread for details.
Hope this helps!

After wiping the sleep out of my eys I found the SQL script in the fold with the DB. "DOH!" was the first thing to come to mind.
I was going to post that I found the script but forgot over the weekend.
Your thread does bring up an interesting point though; the aspnet membership tables, what are those for and what do they do?

The aspnet membership tables handle all of the user accounts for your website. See Scott Mitchell's excellent series of articles on
ASP.NET 2.0's Membership, Roles, and Profile for more details.
