On a Windows 2003 Server a website was created using Visual Studio .Net 2005 with the eCommerce starter kit. The default instance of SQL Express was upgraded to SQL Enterprise edition and IIS 6.0 was installed.
All user permissions in IIS allow read and write access.
The site will run within VS .Net., however, when attempting to access the local host from Internet Explorer the following error message appears:
“You are not authorized to use this page”
Could someone say what would cause this problem?

IUSER_machinename has been given the modify permission; however, there is no ASP.NET?

Yes, is there a way to add ASP.NET and include the modify permissions?

The problem has been solved. [:O]. The NETWORK SERVICE must have modify, read, write, read and execute permissions.
