I am attempting to get role based templates working in my loginview control. This is working perfectly on my local dev server. The membership provider is a MSSQL db on the hosted production server. This is handy as I can add and maintain users in my local
copy and they are instantly available in the production version, so I do not need to have user management on the production server at all. However, while the role based templates works locally, on the production server it does not. Regardless of what role
the user is in they are presented with the "LoggedInTemplate". Any idea what would cause that on the production server? I have no direct access to it, so I will need to ask the host to make any needed changes, but at this point I have no idea what is stopping
it from working. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

So let me make sure I'm understanding the setup. You have a sql db on your production server which is hosted and you have no direct access. You have an application, one copy on a local dev box acessing that sql db and a production copy hosted again that
you have no direct access to (hosted on the same box as the sql db?). But the applciation is the same both places.
If I'm understanding this right then:
Is there any sign that the production application can access the sql db at all? At first blush to me it would appear that your dev box can see the db but the version hosted on the produciton server cannot. Possibly a connection string difference between
the external access and internal access of the db.
