This feature is really starting to test my nerves. So if I create a user using the MPS Sample portal, and then use Active Directory Computers and Users (ADCU) to set 'Hide from Exchange address lists' shouldn't this user be hidden from the Global Address
List(GAL). Form my experience, it doesn't seem so. If I proceed to log into Outlook Web Acces (OWA) and compose and email, I can find that very user listed in the Globla Addres List.
If I am incorrect in my understanding of this feature, please let me know.
The only success I've had in removing the user from the address list is by clearing out the user object's showInAddressBook Active Directory attribute. If this is in fact the only way to hide a user from an address list, then what is the purpose of the
'Hode from Exchnage address lists'?
