Hey guys, I've looked at a few different hosting services but still can't decide. I was hoping someone with some experience could guide me. I'm basically looking for a server that runs windows 2003 that I can install SQL server onto and just have them host
it to deal with the bandwidth I would need. But it seems that every place that gives a dedicated server still wants you to use their shared SQL boxes. Is there a place out there that will give a customer the power I'm asking for. My budget is ~100usd a month.

Yes, I already have the license. In terms of bandwidth I'd be in the 1500gb to 2000gb range at first. Where do people host their pages that exceed these values. It seems like this is the cap for most places.

I have a P4 server with crystaltech (I use for half life 2), when i was looking I found surprisingly they were one of the lowest priced around.
$100 a month for a server that is going to run SQL is a little low in my opinion, but I always see Dual Zeon when i think SQL [:D]

I would say that $100 a month is way too low if you want to host a SQL server on its own. You are going to need at least 1 GB of RAM plus a RAID 1 configuration. The 2 GB of bandwidth per month puts you in the dedicated server league and for a good system
you would be looking at $400 + per month for a Dual Xeon / Dual Core. You could always go with a P4 and Liquid Web are having a sale on at the moment for around $149:
