Herre's my aspx code:
I reckon I've got everything I need there and it all works fine if I exclude the .browser file and use the normal treeview.....

Hi Tom, thanks for the kudos on the adapters. Heidi (my wife and coding partner) enjoyed creating them.
As you may know, the adapted TreeView does offer a kind of populate-on-demand functionality. This is demonstrated and discussed here,
http://www.asp.net/cssadapters/walkthru/walkthrough.aspx#PopulateOnDemandTreeView. The adapted implementation of populate-on-demand does not use an AJAX mechanism to communicate with the server. It uses a plain old postback to request the new tree nodes
that it needs (when a new section of tree is expanded). Happily, however, you can easily wrap the whole <asp:TreeView> with an <asp:UpdatePanel> to achieve the advantages of AJAX whilst simultaneously using the adapted TreeView with its populate-on-demand
