Ok I am fairly new to all of this. I am starting a classified website mainly for the area I live in
www.neaforsalebyowner.com I followed the direction of a previous post by ahari312 at
http://forums.asp.net/thread/1515573.aspx. But I am getting stuck at the part about edit web.config file connectionstring!! Where do I edit the web.config file connectionstring? Is there anywhere i can
go to get a walkthrough and where do I put the class.vsi file I downloaded?
I now this maybe stupid questions but I really like building websites but when it gets really technical I have to slow down and take it step by step?
Can anyone help me?

I am sorry I was so vague in my post before... I am new at all of this too and I was trying to remember the steps from memory after doing them once...
But here is what I had to add to my web.cofig file
hope this helps...
I don;t know anything about a class.vsi file... my site is working
www.garagesaleorlando.com except for the "Respond to Ad" Link... trying to get that fixed... and we didn;t download a class.vsi that I know of..... maybe you can share the knowledge of that one when you find out
then maybe you can answer a question for me if you get your "Respond to Ad" link to work......I have posted a question about it but haven't received a response....

You need the class.vsi if you are going to create a classifieds starter kit project in Visual Studio or Visual Web Developer.
If you want to set up a classifieds starter kit based web site, I think GoDaddy will provide you a automated installation of the starter kit. This should copy all the files and create the database. Maybe then all you will need to do is to change the web.config
connectionstring settings to point to your database and everything should work.
I have not hosted with GoDaddy but there are other hosting providers who do the installation of the starter kit for you. If you have any problems you should be able to get them sorted by putting in trouble tickets on thier help desk system.
