I have created a httphandler where I can create dynamic images gif, jpg and png now this works fine after mapping in IIS the file ext gif jpg and png to use asp.net but when trying to access static images does not work
I tried something like this on my web.config
<add type="System.Web.StaticFileHandler" path="*.png" verb="*" />
but if I have another path for a dynamic image like /dynamicimg/foo.png where I use a different handler
<add verb="*" path="*/dynamicimg/*.png" type="Handler" /> It wont work since the first handler will work instead.
Any ideas how I can have both static and dynamic images at the same time? Or maybe a way to handle this different?

You can have multiple virual directory, and create applications in your IIS Manager for virtual directory. Then you can make extionsions mapped to your asp.net handler in the virtual directory where it is used to dynamically generates images, and don't map
the virtual directories where your web application servers static image.
hope this helps
