I did during the installation the step Procedure ULCS.12: To enable Live Communication Server Organization Search Isolation, but still if I have a reseller with 2 customer , the clients in the first customer can add as contacts the clients in the other
customer and in the other way around. How could I debug this? The idea is to get to the point where each customer organization is isolated from any other.
Also in this same topic, after getting the isolation to work properly. Is it there some way these customer could federate between them (i.e. customer1 of resellerA and customer23 of resellerC) .
Thanks in advance for your answers.
BTW: Now that the version 4.0 is near, do you have some beta program where could be possible to see it in detail as well as make sugestions?
LCS Hosting Isolation

It seems you're not the only one to have this issue:
It looks like adding user contacts from one OU to another is possible, even with isolation enabled, had a chat with one of our engineers and he gave the same answer as posted in the above thread.
I have sent some emails out regarding this, so hopefully should have a definate answer for you soon.
As for federating 2 OU's, you could try:
Create new Group in AD, FederateOrg1Org2Group
Give FederateOrg1Org2Group RTCUserSearchPropertySet rights
Add Org 1 and Org 2's Hosting users group to FederateOrg1Org2Group.

Thanks , Steve.
Do you know if the problem get solved in the version 4.0?

Also, regarding HMC 4.0 Beta, you would have to go to your local MSFT HSS rep.
4.0 doesn't include LCS, this will be implemented in the 4.5 release later on in the year I believe.

thanks, do you know if the problem will be solved in version 4.5 or will be left to version 5.0 .
It could be a critical issue for us to adopt the platform as usually our customer doesnt like this kind of things.

Also do you know if one small filter inside LCS , like the one standard in the product for disabling the passing of URL , that checks that the contact "domain" is the same as the requester of the add contact could be a feasible work around for version 3.5?
Of course this will kill the other "virtual federation" option but may be is more important for us the isolation that the federation at this moment.
Thanks a lot for your help.
