Summary of events below (full history here in this thread:
The problem I've got now is that I've gone back to my CLR V2.0 solution and Visual Studio 2005 debugger won't start. When I start VS2005 and start the debugger it partially updates the screen (as if it is going to show the debugger panels but it never redraws
them). After 2 or 3 minutes the devenv.exe process is still using about 50% to 80% CPU usage and it looks like its crashed.
After hanging for about 5 minutes it comes back with the following error message:
"Cannot detach from one or more processes:
aspnet_wp.exe: The debugger is still attaching to the process.
Do you want to terminate them instead"
I then clicked "Yes" and it said:
"Unable to start debugging on the server. The operation has timed out.
Click Help for more information"
(except that there is no help button to click on)
Any ideas GREATLY appreciated,

Last ditch plea for help before I get completely disillisioned with MS testing of simultaneous VS2003 and VS2005... and give up.

Oh look. I'm the only person in this thread.[;)]. I will document what I did so any poor bugger that follow behind can have an easier life...(and you never know, I may even look this up myself one day - dang, now I really am talking to myself!)
Alright. Problem solved but not very satisfactory at all.
STILL got the same problem (and same error message).
Found this thread - which although related to VS2003 debugging problems - obvious a lot of it still applies to VS2005 cos it solved my problem:
Not sure which of these actually did the job in the end, but now the VS2005 debugger is working.
End of saga.
AND IT WAS A SAGA MICROSOFT - REDICULOUS!!!!!!!
