I had been working with a web project in Visual Studion 2003, on a WIN 2003 Server.
The system has become very slow.
I closed the solution and opened it again, but some files were missing in the solution explorer.
So I right clicked and 'show all files' clicked.
After some time, when I looked at the Solution Explorer panel, I found that the icons of some aspx files got changed to a white icon! When I double clicked on the file, I find the HTML code alone, and I could not find the objects in DESIGN VIEW!!!
When I clicked the '+' sign at the left of each file, I find the "aspx.vb" files which are OK!!!
Are my aspx files corrupted or damaged?
Is there any solution to recover them?
Please give me some expert advice.
Thanking you in advance

How much disk space do you have left?

I have 15 GB free disc space.
To know more info, my computer was infected with some viruses also. I had cleaned them using AVG virus scanner. But none of the Solutions files or aspx files were infected.

Thank you for your kind reply.
Let me explain the problem specifically.
When I right-click on the 'corrupted' aspx files, there is a menu saying "Include in the project". I clicked on that, and then the icon became normal. But when I double clicked on that file, it reported the following error message.
"The file could not be loaded into the web forms designer. Please correct the following error and then try loading it again.
The designer could not be shown for this file because none of the classes within it can be designed. Make sure all of the classes used in the page are build or referenced in the project."
When I 'include' those files in the project, then the aspx.vb files are displayed OK. But the desigber with all controls are not displayed.
Thanking you in advance,

My problem is solved.
1. I had not imported the references.
2. I removed the files and added again, and rebuilt.
It was solved.
Thanks again for all.
