I had a web module which was build in VS 2003. Now i migrated all the source to VS 2005. Before migration i saved all my ASP pages into UTF-8 file format. After that i proceed for conversion. The conversion succeed and execute the VS 2005 create web module,
it executed but UTF-8 / SHIFT-JIS support is not available. For example in my application i had httpcookies. In that httpcookies i storing a Japanese named variable into the reponse object . while i retreiving the cookies from request object its not support/
not found because the different variable with unicode character is available in the request object. Anyone can help me????
This problem exists while conversion from VS2003 to VS 2005.
Then I test by creating a new application in VS2005 . In that UTF-8 / SHIFT-JIS support is available.
Please help me.....

Word can help you check if the encoding of the source code converted correctly.
You can open your code in Word as text file.
And are the web.config file in the two project different?
