I have an application that was written by hand in ASP.NET 1.1 and I'd like to upgrade it to 2.0 to utilize with Visual Studio 2005. However all the articles and posts I have seen only deal with upgrading the application if it was written in VS.NET 2003
or earlier. Is there a way to manually invoke the migration wizard? The files are 1.1, they just don't have the solution file and any other proprietary files Visual Studio creates?

VS2005 makes it easy to upgrade, just open the project or solution in VS2005 and you'll find the migration wizard, its straigh forward from there.

Ahh, but there is the catch. It doesn't seem to be recognizing it as a 1.1 project. The application I am trying to upgrade is the Link Directory from
