q1]i would like to use some other image as a background for dynamic text image[png]? is it possible?
may i know how to do it?
q2]if it is possible to do that..how do it select the area where the text is to be written?

You can use Graphics class FromImage and DrawImage and DrawString methods.
Use Graphics.FromImage to load an image then DrawImage to overlay it with another image and finally DrawString to draw a dynamic text on top of them.

while using the graphics.DrawImage i would like to position it on a location where the user click on the canvas[background image drawn using the graphics.Fromimage]

yes , some overload of DrawImage accept drawing postion with image to draw , you can use it.
