I'm using BMP handlers in an application that has yet to be launched. It will be dynamically resizing all images and merging images upon each serving of a file. How good is .NET at doing this?
How can I performance tune my code and figure out what I can handle with my current processors? I'd like to be able to serve at least a 100-200 dynamically drawn images per second. Is this realistic?

thanks very much.. I will try to google some info on what you have said .. I don't have any experience performance monitoring or with simple timers ... any suggestions on where to get started?
btw the outputed files are only about 50k .. 600x600 type output files
