Following the progress of Microsoft’s newest technologies, Perpetuum Software LLC declares that Report Sharp-Shooter, a use-proven reporting tool for .NET will support
the XPS file format included into the Windows Vista operating system.
The majority of software experts predict that the XPS (XML
Paper Specification) format, a component of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), will provide the ideal tool for storing, displaying and publishing data from WPF applications. XPS is designed for fulfilling the same task as PDF: to display a document in
the same way across the machines independently from the software installed.
Having the long-term experience on the software development market, Perpetuum Software LLC is confident that support for new advantages of the .NET Framework 3.0
and Windows Vista by the company products provides developers with significant competitive edge and releases from many problems of data transfer to end users.
The official representative of Perpetuum Software LLC reports that date of the official release of a new Report Sharp-Shooter version with support for Windows Vista capabilities will
be announced later.
