thanks for this, I was waiting for real integration with VS before using Python but its a great language and this support is great.

yes that is how I ended up back here :)
I do have one question - I would think there'd be any performance issues using py since this just gets JIT'd anyway? say over c#?

IronPython code does indeed get compiled to IL. Being a latebound language, you would probably see a perf difference over C# if you were to do some very CPU intensive things. However, in the context of an average ASP.NET page that des things like get or
set values from Control's, the difference should not be significant.
Also, note that being an early CTP, we have not yet optimized everything in IronPython for ASP.NET, and I'm sure there are a few things that we can do better later.

Just a quick note: I have download it and I love it, great job. I have not seen any problems yet. If I do, you'll be the first person to know ;-)
