I didn't realize I could get a project developer that didn't have a built-in setup project. I have developed an ASP .NET project, and am desperately trying to get it to run on a dedicated server for my company. The thing is, the version I have of VS 2003
has no option to create a web setup project, only a regular setup project.
The research I've done on the internet the past several WEEKS on this topic all have two main things in common. They all agree that I need to use a web setup project instead of the regular setup project, and that there seems to be no known simple fix beyond
spending the $300+ for the new FULL version simply to get the one project option. Does anyone know of a way to download a patch or something that would allow me to create a web setup project using 1.1 framework? I don't mind spending a little money on this,
as I would be reimbursed, but they'd definitely ask questions if I have to buy a whole new program after the developement.
