It is almost new code base that can fill five books, what is new is covered in the first link the second link is to download the BOL(books online) enter what is new on the search pane after you install it. Hope this helps.

Plus SQL 2005 now has database mirroring that can be used as an automatic failover to a partner database without any loss in data integrity. Apparently the failover is seamless and takes around 4-5 seconds.
