I am building a website (my first) and the business owner signed up with Hostway.com. This is for a very small business and we just need 1gb and some email accounts.
RateLink for Hostway -- ($216 a year)
Rate Link for a specialized .NET hoster Gate.com -- ($100 a year) more memory
Do you think I should cancel this and get another host? (There’s a 30day money-back guarantee) (The domain name was bought under through Hostway)
Also, my client signed up for Linux server but we need Windows. There will be a $20 fee to switch. Do you think I could talk the company out of this fee since we just started?
Please help me in my first project. Thank you.

I think you need to elaborate more about your first question !
For the other question, the best what you can do is to ask them directly for that. No one can answer this question [:)]

I know a lot more about web design than particular hosts. However after simple searches, In my humble opinion, there are way too many windows hosts at a fraction of $216...Gate is one of many, many, many. I would switch immediately, since they have that
money back guarantee. You'll have to ask Hostway about the switching fee though. Good luck!
