In order to add a couple of fields to the classifieds_ads table I have added them to the
table, views folder, stored procedures including InsertAd, RelistAd, and UpDateAd, DAL/Ads.xsd, Bll/Ads.vb and to the following pages: EditAd.aspx, EditAd.aspx.vb, PostAd.aspx and PostAd.aspx.vb.
When using debug to follow the process of adding a record the fields are updated correctly through
PostAdWizard_FinishButtonClick. The new record is added but the new fields are null.
While stepping through the code a file named App_Code.odvzyzwy.1.vb is opened. Some of my mods are reflected in that file but in other cases they are not.
How do I get to that file outside of the debug process? Is there a process that can propigate my changes to the higher power controlling all database updates.
Any help would be appreciated.

I too had the same problem,
I solved it by going through all the code, and it still didn't work.
And then I remembered that wonderful built in debugging tool for Visual Web Developer.
And I found one you left out, and I did as well, in the Stored Procedure, GetAdByID.
If that doesn't help you, try debuging.

Did you have any luck adding your fields? I am wanting to do the same thing but am at a loss on how to databind them. I have done my own with grid view, form view and details view... but the setup on this page does not have a data source... so I really
am not sure what to do.
I am new to ASP.net but I have done quite a bit in ASP & PHP. Any help would be greatly apprecaited.
