I have following basic questions that will definately help all other users like me, so please help us answering these questions precisely .
1. How i can configure Portal starter kit for SQL Server 2005 (Not SQL Express), so that I can view the database. If not then how can we view the database in SQL Express.
2. Once installed and having problem I want to reconfigure it/re install it how
3. Why I can't see the Admn Tab, even after registering a user.
4. How I can view the application in VS 2005 and run it from there. So if I make certain changes to test my skill, and check it.
Hopefully some precise answers will be provided to keep the reputation of this site as high as ever
Thanks in advance

I'll attempt to answer your questions but I'm not sure if you should consider them "precise" answers.
As for keeping the high reputation of this site, as far as I know there is no further development going on for the Portal Starter Kit. While I'm sure that there are people still using this starter kit in intranet applications, many have moved on to DotNetNuke
and/or .Net 2.0. New devs may want to consider DNN.
Hope this helps.

Thank you Mike -
my next question is that how i can run this Portal starter kit in debug mode. I mean the way i develop in Web Application and then I set break point and go through my code. In fact i want to learn how these different classes are utilized and manipulated.

To be precise i want to see the execution of code right from the begining.
Thank you very much
