I have a large ASP.NET web application that even contains several sub projects. I have created a new C# class that I want to be able to use throughout my project. Unfortunately when I build my project I get an error message telling me that the name space
can not be found. That is the namespace of my new class.
Here is very small scaled down version of my class:
/// Summary description for Classy.
public class Classy
// TODO: Add constructor logic here
Now for example I want to use this class from another C# file I have. The files name is CachedData.cs. Inside of CachedData.cs I have the following using statement:
This does not work and I am getting the following error message from the compiler:
c:\inetpub\wwwroot\Intranet\QApp\CachedData.cs(12): The type or namespace name 'Intranet' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
Can someone help me figure out what the problem is?

The only possibility is that the new class you wrote (with intranet namespace) is incorrect - can't be compiled - but perhaps the order for compilling is to start first with the other class (where accesssing the intranet).
To be sure - just comment the code from intranet class - and let only the constructor - with no code inside (or commented if some). - and then retry.
