I am having a problem in a VS 2003 web application.
When I drag any ASP control from my toolbox to my web page, I get an error in the designer saying "Error Creating Control: Parsor Error: Literal content ('Label') is not allowed within a 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.Label'."
(I dragged a Label on in this case.)
When I switch to the source view, I see that this was added to the top of the page.
<%@ Register TagPrefix="cc1" Namespace="System.Web.UI.WebControls" Assembly="System.Web" %>
Also, this is what my Label looks like.
<cc1:Label id="Label1" runat="server">Label</cc1:Label>
I can change the "cc1" to "asp" and then it looks fine in the designer. Does anyone know why this could be happening?
Thanks in advance.
