Hi guys, I see the activity in the "blog aftermatch" so there is still life in the DNN asp.NET forums.
However, I think it is important to know why there was an outage. Is this just a tech flaw/connectivity or is this something someone is working on?

Of course, I tried everything. Cleared cache, cleared all cookies, asked my neighbors who are using the same provider if they could get there, and they could. Add a new hard drive with a fresh operating
system, still couldn't get to dotnetnuke.com. I had been spending the last couple hours reading the manual for the router, reconfigured my router, still nothing The only conclusion I have come to is either Dotnetnuke or their provider
MaxiumAsp(I believe) is restricting my IP address. WHY? Is there a core member out there that can help?

Add a new hard drive with a fresh operating system,
you didnt flush your toilet 4 times then try...
seriously I doubt they are blocking your ip... did you try to ping
www.dotnetnuke.com and ping 126.96.36.199
you need to know if you can even get there..

Please note, there is a problem with dotnetnuke.com at present - primarily in the forums section. We are aware of this and are trying to resolve it.

if you cant ping the ip address... it has nothing to do with them!!! (unless I have completely forgotten networking 101)
have you called your isp yet to see if they have that ip address range blocked?

Finally have the issue resolved, my apologies to MaxiumAsp. It was an extremely weird situation (not being able to connect to DotNetNuke only) but after resetting the router to default settings and then adding the firmware upgrade, I am
now able to reconnect to DotNetNuke.com.
