We have several Web projects written in VS 2003 and now we want to migrate to VS 2005 since all our new projects uses .net 2.0
After migrating, using the wizard, I get lots of warnings:
"Variable declaration without an 'As' clause; type of Object assumed" --
Public Const cReturnValueOk = 0
also warnings about functions:
"Function without an 'As' clause; return type of Object assumed" --
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong - or what I can do to fix it? :O)

I had an awful time yesterday migrating several web apps to VS 2005 until I finally realized that it was trying to turn my web applications into web sites (different VS template). Go to this page:
You can download the web application template, which is MUCH more like VS 2003. Also, look at the bottom of the page for other frequent downloads - there are a couple of things in there that will greatly help any migration effort. Once I had installed the
right updates, my migration was a BREEZE.

Whoops, forgot one more:
This is the actual Web Application Project download. The previous post had two important downloads behind its link: a) a prerequisite download to prepare for the Web App Project install and an updated VS2003-to-VS2005 conversion utility.
