The only difference between the two is the syntax, that's all... they all get compiled to the same thing (MIL/Microsoft Itermediate Language)... Microsofts's whole idea behind having multiple languages is to bring the concept that language doesn't matter...
anyone can program .Net... guys who are used to c++ can use j# or c#... people who are coming fromt he VB world they can use VB.net... Java guys can go into c#, etc... etc.. you can even use Cobol if you wanted to (ewww..cobol) The idea behind having multiple
languages is so that you can choose the one that your most familiar with to shorten your learning curve... anyway... good luck searching for your language of preference! GO CSHARP!!!!! hehehhe... :-)
