Framework like vue.js, angular, react.js tends to finish their work at client side (even in a single page that never posts back, which conflicts with webform).
They have their own design.
If you want to use the three popular framework, you had better use web api. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/aspnet/web-api/overview/getting-started-with-aspnet-web-api/tutorial-your-first-web-api
However, in web form , only small framework like jquery works well, you could use its simple and sufficent api to select dom element, change their property, insert or delete new element before the page posts back and still make use of webform control.
