Thanks again for the response. Unfortunately, using any type of change vent won't work for a couple of reasons. First, each selection, (by user specs) defaults to a value which will likely be the selection, so in many cases, there will be no change. Second,
there is no need to insert every time a row is changed (although it is certainly no worse than looping through each row on a submit). To simplify, lets assume I simply want to insert the contents of the questionnaire, re-query the database, and display the
results (which I am having some problems with as noted above). IN the actual application, the insert fires some stored procedures to perform lookups based the answers, "scores" the responses and inserts this information into the table row with the raw data
from the questionnaire. Nothing too elaborate, but seems to cause just enough of a delay to have the asynchronous nature if ajax bite me.
