sorry, i meant DB (DataBase).
a DBF file is a DataBaseFile, or in other words, its an SQL DataBase on a format to be used localy without the need to have an SQL Server installed. That said, ust like a full SQL Database, the DBF should contain 1 or more Tables, each with a different
fields structure. For instance, you can have a table named Products, with fields for ProductID, Name, CategoryId and CreationDate, and another called Categories with fields named CategoryId, Name and CreationDate. If you want to update a product, then you
write an SQL Statement like:
UPDATE Products SET Name = 'MyNewName' WHERE ProductId=4
Notice that i did not mention the DBF file on th statement, but rather the table inside the DBF file. The DBF file is to be referenced on the connection string, and not in the SQL query statement
