Any help in accessing this property?
I've been reading your last post (Mr. Naughton about Cascading Filed Templates) but still can't make it work in my model.
Either way, I need to go backwards in my chain of dependencies not only to the "grand father" level but also to the "grand grand father" and some other combinations as "grand uncles", etc.
So I'm still working on my idea of customizing those pages that are needed to make my system work while sstill testing/debugging. I can't stop finishing my data modeling and former production of my system.
What I'm trying to do is to make a "Response.Redirect" to an "intermediary" page in which I'll select the query criteria required to display coherent data in the GridView of my intersection table (t66) as a result of the values gotten from the DropDownList(s).
To be more clear, I'll put in that page (the intermediary one) all DropDownLists and/or GridViews that I might be needing at some specific point (depending on the table that I want to display) and then I'll pass the values of the selected indexes as variables
to the final page in which I'll be doing my CRUDs.
The problem is that I can't find a way to have available the value of the EntitySetName as displayed in the picture.
I have tried with things like:
object myObject = someObject.GetType().GetProperty("property_name", BindingFlags.Instance | BindingFlags.NonPublic).GetValue(someObject, null);
but I just got nulls.
I have copied the key from VS2008 and this is what I got:
But still no luck trying to access that way.
