This is my first time to setup a office network and I'm having some problems, I hope this is the correct place to post this.
Here is my situation, we have two servers one is dedicated to our souce files and local user files which has our Active Directory, IIS, DNS running Windows Server 2008. This server's sole purpose is just to test our webstie on and to store local user files.
The second server is running Windows Server 2008 on it and has SQL Server 2008 and its sole purpose is to just run our test database.
So here are my questions when it comes to setting up SQL Server and Source Safe, I have not been able to find anythnig about setting up source safe. Does anyone have any insight that they could send my direction. Also when it comes to setting up SQL Server
which is on a seperate server, I have created the DB under the administrator of that Server but when I want to create new uesrs for that DB how can I just use the users that are on our domain? I hope I'm writing out the correct questions, thanks for any and
all the help you can provide.
